When are you open?
Wednesday to Sunday, 8am-4pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday – except Bank Holiday Mondays when we are open 8-4. In the warmer months, on Fridays we’re open until 8pm for early suppers (when we fire up our hand-built wood-fired pizza oven for lovely sourdough pizzas).

Do you do takeaway?
Pretty much everything we make can be taken away as well as eaten in.

Can I see the menu?
Our menu starts with what’s in season and what’s available from our very local suppliers so it’s constantly changing depending on availability, but have a look at our pages on breakfast and lunch for more details.

What sort of food do you serve?
Predominately vegetarian but then we always have bacon muffins on the go for breakfast/brunch, Dean’s own special sausage rolls and our renowned BLT croissants….

Do I need to book?
No, not unless you are a large party – we have plenty of space inside and out and we are very casual and informal.

Can you eat outside?
Yes, and we have a lovely, partly covered area overlooking the River Parrett.

Are there kids options?
Yes, plenty to choose from, just ask.

Do you cater for vegans?
Yes – vegan brunch special every day, there are always vegan cakes available and generally at least two lunch items are vegan as well as daily bakes on the counter such as our spicy filo parcels. We also make vegan croissants at the weekends,

What do you have that’s gluten free?
As a bakery there is inevitably gluten ‘everywhere’, however, we do make gluten free cakes and specific lunch dishes that we ensure are as uncontaminated by gluten as we possibly can.

Do you do functions?
Providing they are outside our standard opening hours. We’ve held private parties, music events, performance poetry, art classes…..

Do you do outside catering?
We’re not geared up for managing events ‘off site’, but if you can collect, then yes.

Do you do gift vouchers?
Yes, anything from £5 upwards, redeemable any time.
